WBM Office Systems today announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition of technology services provider PrinterWorks, a leader in the provision of Managed Print Technology Services based in Vancouver and delivering solutions throughout British Columbia. The move represents another significant investment by WBM and will be a major milestone toward expanding WBM’s Western Canadian presence, while also better positioning to support a growing portfolio of client enterprises with operations nationwide.
Ashley Schell, director of IT procurement services at Saskatchewan-based WBM Office Systems, a Wild West member, took to the stage Tuesday morning at the event to make the case for donating to Fort McMurray relief efforts, and the results were nearly immediate — less than five hours after his presentation, contributions from solution providers alone were north of $4,000, with that number expected to grow as the group continues to shine a spotlight as the event continues on Wednesday.

The Government of Saskatchewan has awarded a five-year, $38 million dollar information technology contract to WBM Office Systems, a Saskatchewan-based company with offices in both Regina and Saskatoon.
WBM won the contract on the basis of “Best Value”, a standard recently put in place for all government procurement through the Priority Saskatchewan initiative. The contract will see WBM work to achieve business results in government offices through the provision and strategic delivery of end user computing technologies, managed lifecycle services, and end user support programs, all delivered in partnership between the people of WBM, and the people within the Government of Saskatchewan Central Services organization.

Microsoft Canada has announced that WBM Office Systems has been selected as an Authorized Device Reseller partner for the provision and support of the Microsoft Surface computing device lineup.
With the announcement, WBM becomes one of only 15 companies in Canada to hold the authorization, and will be the only exclusive Authorized Device Reseller (ADR) in Saskatchewan.
